Locotractors KT These are special driving railway vehicles for light shunting and manipulation with railway vehicles and they are designated for ensuring of technological service of production in the place of loading and unloading. Technological vehicle with electric transfer of output complies with all conditions for the operation of railways in connection to operation of other railway vehicles. Undercarriage, main vehicle frame with puller and buffer gear, axle transmissions, and some other parts of the vehicle are used from the original locomotive. All other parts are newly constructed. Actuation apparatus is placed in front cowling. Primary power source can be either a lead accumulator, taking care of regular both-direction operation or, a diesel generator set supplying power electronics traction inverter. There is an electro-dynamic brake installed on the vehicle. Technical parameters of vehicles ensure exceptionally advantageous economical indicators and optimal return of investment (minimum costs of operation and maintenance of the vehicle, quality assurance and the assurance of lifecycle of individual components, operation ecology). The vehicle complies with strict safety and fire-protection requirements.
